First, navigate to the rules to make sure you've understood everything correctly. Then, you can contact me using the contact button on top of the page, or through Twitter (button at the bottom of the page).Once we've connected and I've made sure that the consent rules have been respected, I'll settle on a number of hours to work on your project. My current rate is 10€ for 10k, plus 10€ for the cover. For example, if your story is 100k, and you want me to create a cover as well, your final price will be 110€!How do I pay you?
Through Paypal! I have a Paypal account that's strictly reserved for commissions. You can pay using "Goods & Services" through Paypal (but you'll have to add fees to cover for the expense on top of the price of your commission), or use the "friends and family" payment.Once you're done working, what do I get?You get two PDFS files: one for the inside of the book, one for the cover. You can then do what you want with it, but I will always recommend printing it through the site lulu.com, which is what I personally use.Can I then sell the book you've typeset for me?As per the rules stated, you can't resell the PDFs or the book you make thanks to my typesetting to anyone. You're allowed to share it with friends and whatnot, but at no point can money be made from this work.What if I'm the author of the story I want you to typeset?_That is the only exception to the "no reselling" rule. If you're the author of the story you want me to typeset, you can do anything you want with the files: resell the book through Lulu with a cut of the profit, resell the book through Etsy, whatever. It's your story, I'm just the enabler.What if the story I want you to typeset is a story that you've already typeset before?I will put you in relation with the person I typeset it for, and it will be up to them to see if they want to share it or not. Again, no reselling.What if the author, or one of the artists of the story i want you to typeset didn't get back to me or said no?Then I won't be typesetting it. No exceptions.---More questions? Rules of consent
When reaching out for me to typeset a story, you'll need the firm consent of the author of the story (unless you are the author), and the consent of every artists that's featured in the story.If the author refuses to give consent, I will not be typesetting their story. If one or more artists that are featured in a story say no to their work being printed, the story will be typeset without their work.Proof of consent can be screenshots from DMs, Discord messages or anything that proves the author gave you consent.I want to insist on the fact that without consent from the author, I won't be taking the project. No exceptions will be made. If something "smells fishy" about your proof of consent, I will be reaching out to the author myself to confirm.What's your price?
My current price is set at an hourly rate of 20€/hour.
It currently takes me about 4-5 hours to complete a project of 50k, creation of a cover included (although depending on the complexity of the work, that can obviously change).
Before we start working together, you'll be explaining your project to me, and that's when I'll give you an estimate in terms of time and price (based on all the info you'll give me). At the end of the project, depending on the real-life time I spent on your project, that price will be adjusted accordingly.Can I resell your work?
It'll be strictly forbidden for anyone to resell my work in any way or form (meaning, either the PDFs files or the actual book), unless you are the author of the story you're having me typeset. You are allowed to share the PDFs or the book for free (in accordance with the writer of the story if it isn't yours).Be patient!
I work a full-time 40h/week job in morning or afternoon shifts, which means I get to work on your projects on my downtime. I'm also based in France, so it's very likely that we're not in the same timezone.
